Ive been building my own High end gaming rigs for over 7 years, but i started to get tired of dealing with multiple component RMA's. So i decided that i would get a custom built but if i was going to go down this route it had to be the best money could buy, it had to look & perform like no other pc and the customer service had to be nothing short of godly. Thankfully after about 2 months of solid research i found Vadim and the rest is History:) Im a firm believer in that you cant really judge a company till something goes wrong and this is were Vadim beat everyone else hands down, not only did they fix my problem with out any "turn it off and on again" speak but they make you feel like they actually care that you have a problem which they do. If you want computers that are faster/better looking & better built than anyone else can offer there is only one company and thats Vadim, I mean They got my mark of approval and everyone knows hardcore gamers like myself are never easy to please:)

This may be the second testimonial I have posted but it is with good reason. My computer developed an intermitent fault a few months ago which ended up driving me crazy as to what the fault might be, so I got on to Vadim to see if they could help. All I can say is the support team of Vadim are a rare breed. They have found diagnosed and sorted the fault even though all the tests both myself and the guys at Vadim ran, all resulted with no errors found, they really know their stuff. Also they have answered every question I have asked in a positive and friendly manner, not once have they made me feel like im inferior or I'm bothering them, unlike some customer support departments I could mention. The whole experience of having my system being fixed and upgraded by the Vadim support team has been a joy and given me peace of mind knowing it couldn't be in better hands. The only thing I wish I had done was to take out a longer warranty when I purchased the machine last year knowing what I know now about how good the support at Vadim really is.

I received the Computer and peripherals in good order, masses of bubble rap, excellent protection. The only problem was on initial boot up, the CMOS cir switch had been pressed probably due to the bubble rap. A quick call to Vadim, and problem solved. Excellent support, no flannel, if he did not know how to answer a question, he went away and got the answer. That is quality support, and gives confidence. Big thanks to Adrian for his advice and superb build, real quality in every way. I am amazed at how quite the system is, a must for me when in artistic mode, or watching a movie. I have know hesitation in recommending Vadim to all who wish for a Superb Quality System, excellent support and no nonsense advice.

Custom Air Cooled Gaming PC This was my first purchace from vadim, i was on a budget so i deced on air cooling rather than water cooling. i wanted a pc that could play the latest games and for doing work on. when i orded my pc there was a few problems with some of the parts so i had to change them around a bit, but vadim sorted this out in no time. i finaly settled on a q6600 processor as this is fast enough to play games and its not too expensive, and i chose a 9800gtx,2gb ram and 2x 250gb HD in raid 0. i wanted a pc that would keep cool, so i selected the Antarctic cooling. I am very impressed with this as in my coolermaster case there was enough room to fit 10 fans! and they are all temperature controlled, so i can play games for hours on end without any signs of overheating. This pc is extremley fast and can play almost every game to date at MAX on a 22" monitor! (1680x1050 resoluton) However when i reveved the pc there were a few small problems, firstly the large fan on the side was not connected, i was not sure if it was meant to be or not. I contaced vadim and the next day they replied telling me that they recomend plugging it in. (they also told me where to plug it in) secondly they replaced the stock cooler on the 9800gtx, the cooler was very large and was almost touching the sound card, they had put masking tape on the sound card to prevent the heat from the 9800gtx damaging the card, however some of the tape came loose and got caught in the fan on the 9800gtx and stoped the fan from spinning. i did not discover this until a day after i receved the system as the fan started to make a noise, i stuck the tape back down and the fan is now working fine. overall i think the system is great i give it 90% Well done Vadim ;)

I came across Vadim a while ago on the Gadget Show. I proceeded to the website to find the whole array of customization Vadim offers. I has looking for something with 'POWER' for intensive use of Adobe CS3 and few games but at a low cost. Pre order I spoke to Vadim via telephone to go over a few thing before I finalized my order. They were extremely helpful. During the building process I was again well informed on the current situation of the building (thank you Andy) and was even offered some free upgrades to components. It arrived exactly on the ETA which was extremely pleasing. I was quick to get it up and running and within minutes of arrival I was loading windows and in about 4 seconds that had finished! It really lived up to and exceeded all my expectations, it performs brilliantly, I'm sitting here writing from it with a big smile on my face. Thank you Vadim!

As a child, my family had a modest income and any money I had was earned from weekend and school holiday jobs. I learned the value of money quickly but the value of quality the hard way. When looking for a new computer, I thought I knew what I wanted but needed validation and possibly some advice. I found Vadim purely by browsing. Like so many others here, my initial reaction was that the prices were high. After making my initial contact I felt I received good advice and was even talked down a little from my original spec by Vincent. However, I soon talked myself back up. I took the plunge in February (2008) and ordered what I consider to be a PC to last me years. I play no games but use Photoshop CS3 to process digital photographs and needed something to do this as well as use a range of MS Office software, email, browsing etc. Fault tolerance and redundancy are important to me so I have 4 disks in a RAID10 and have just added a fifth disk outside the array for backups. A final sense check with Vadim and I was away. I was kept informed of progress at appropriate junctures and all my queries were answered (except just one Richard and it’s now too late!) in a timely, courteous and professional manner. I no longer do anything technical with computers but when it arrived I had to remove the side panels. Clearly this machine had been built with precision, passion and attention to detail. Seeing – well hearing really – a particular band play in 1978 through a superb sound system taught me that quality DOES make a difference. A thirty year old lesson has just been reinforced by my first purchase from Vadim. I think I’ll be needing a laptop in the next six months so I’ll be back. To protect my new baby I’m buying (more) covers from www.jenart.com and will be registering him for free on https://www.immobilise.com/ My only regret is that I didn’t order some of those little coloured LED fan thingies…

Having heard about Vadim through custom pc and joining the community in October last year, i decided these guys are the nuts! (inc the forumers ) So i ordered my Vadim i waited. Changes i implemented were carried out and i was kept updated regulary online. The day before shipment Richard my builder spotted some problems but me being the patient type waited for him to rectify them....It took a few more days.... I was offered a free saturday delivery and an extreme overclock profile for my troubles.... Being a stickler for reliability i decided to decline the extreme overclock.... The system i ordered included the standard cabling and premium watercooling. The cabling is neat and tidy with good airflow and its whisper quiet! My new 8400 cpu is currently running at at over 4ghz! The only niggle i had was my graphics card was not overclocked. I contacted Vadim and they have sent me a disc with the overclock profiles on them to sort it out! Vadim definately put their customers first and i will only deal with them for my pc needs/upgrades in the future! Overall i would rate Vadim as experience from start to finish as 9.0 out of 10!

Where do I start !! If you or a friend or family member are considering buying a computer through VADIM you are making the BEST decision you can ever make !. I have been using computers since the Spectrum 48K was around ,and I've been with several different companies over the years (to say the least) and without a doubt VADIM is the best I have ever had the fortune of finding and using. I mainly use my PC for gaming, especially online multiplayer and the occasional LAN event. I had tried a lot of so-called high end PCs from a lot of well known companies (the names I wont mention) and I have had nothing but problems and really bad experiences from the outset and the problems got worse as I went along . The customer service and technical support were atrocious! So after a period of searching for the elusive right company I came across a review of a Rig from VADIM in "CUSTOM PC" and what a PC it was! It looked amazing and the review was also really good. It really got my attention so I started looking more in depth at VADIM and in the month or so I was doing this I could not find one bad experience, not one bad review and not one bad word to be said about them from anywhere or anyone !. So I made contact; the experience from start to finish has been a wonderful one. I selected the setup I wanted and said what I'd be using the PC for. Within a few hours ( not even that long ) Adrian (my Builder) had been in touch . He went through the selection I had made on my order and suggested a few changes and improvements - at no extra cost to me, in fact it reduced the price !!!!!! I have NEVER had this service before. I was shocked to say the least, but very happy with the recommendations and changes he had made . Then the build; I was kept up to date the whole way via email, which is a really good idea, (as I had a lot of questions!) and all queries were all answered quickly . Also I was able to add a lot of extra things I wanted during the build with no problems. At the final stage of testing Adrian ran into a small issue with the memory, which another member of staff (Hi Andy) informed me of straight away as Adrian was busy working on the problem. It delayed my delivery date by a couple of days due to them having to order some new memory, install it and test it etc .. I didn't mind the delay in the slightest, knowing that it would arrive with no issues , which it did !!! It arrived on a Saturday at 9:00am. What a sight it was! The packaging was outstanding - even inside it was carefully wrapped with lots of bubble wrap surrounding all the components etc.. And then I turned her on ! She's incredible - sooo fast with no issues at all - a really stable yet fast computer, even with overclocking. I can now play Crysis with a decent frame rate around 35fps average and that's with one 8800 GTS 512mb !! I have never ever had such a stable yet powerful computer . VADIM outshines the competition hands down. I will be sticking with Vadim from now on. Oh, one thing I cant give an opinion on the technical support as I have had no issues !! but I know from others who have had some issues that it's as good as the rest of the service ,which is outstanding ! THANK YOU VADIM! Keep up the incredible work!!!

From my perspective, Vadim deserves a 90% mark. Nearly perfect but not quite. Here are my rankings of the whole process from start to end. Pre-sales - excellent support, and reasonable advice. However, if you are going to go for a custom build you should be aware that you should have some technical expertise. i.e you should not be afraid to open the box and do some tweaking, maybe even some minor rewiring! My one area of complaint is in terms of USB connectors - I have a personal dislike of external hubs (two extra trailing wires). Vadim should really do an assessment of how many motherboard USB connectors are going to be consumed and advise if an Internal USB hub is recommended. My motherboard had six connectors, but I only finished with one front panel port despite the case having provision for three. This drags my ranking in this section down to 80%. Build Phase - excellent support and feedback. I was kept informed of delays in getting the required CPU's and given frequent updates. Vadim were very accommodating in taking on board some late additions from me. This phase deserves a 100% ranking. Build Price - Vadim are not cheap, go somewhere else if you want cheap. However they ARE competitive. My grown-up son ordered a nearly identical spec model from Apple, and prices were comparable once allowance for a few extra goodies for me were included! Delivery dates were nearly identical. So a 100% ranking? Build Quality - due I think to the rush to finalize my machine (I had set some timing deadlines) a few tiny faults resulted ( a couple of case light connectors were the wrong way around), and not spotted in the final quality check. I am willing to bet that these would have been caught if Vadim had had there normal 48 hour check prior to shipment. I was also a little upset that I lost one of my front panel USB ports to the m-Cubed T-Balancer which is only used on initial system set-up. A little foresight and a minor wiring change would have obviated this irritation. Bottom line a 90% mark. Post delivery Experience - a totally stable quiet workstation that looks great. Even Vista was set-up to give a reasonable out of the box experience. My dual boot XP was set up perfectly as was the back-up image. 100% for operational experience.

Why did I buy this machine from Vadim?, well the answer is simple. I first came across Vadim in 2004, and ordered my first custom build. It was duly delivered but was unfortunately DOA, (carriers fault not Vadims), after sending it back for repair, Vadim himself, and his good lady deleiverd it to me on a sunday afternoon, installed my own OS, soundcard and graphics card, ensured all was workin okay, had a cup of tea and left. All this involved a round trip of over 350 miles. THAT'S what I call customer service over and above the call of duty. So natuarally when a new machine was needed, I came back. after a false start with the ordering process (my fault, not Vadims) I ordered this l machine. Some delay was experienced with the build due to overclocking the memory, but this was soon sorted by Andy, who built the machine for me, and I was treated to personal delivery on a Saturday at no extra cost to me. The machine is fantastic in all respects, build quality is superb, it looks brilliant (well to me anyway) and it runs cool and quite with a 3D mark score of 16358, which meets and exceeds all my present and foreseeable computing needs. Am I a happy bunny? you bet, would I recommend Vadim? oh yes, if you want the best possible custom build PC then there's no other option, it's Vadim all the way.

Very happy with Vadim. After reading around on the forums decided to go with Vadim due to the well-made machines, customer support and aesthetics. Machine arrived very well-packaged with no signs of damage. Only problem was CMOS must have been reset during transit, but a quick reply from the maker Richard got the machine back to the overclocked settings. Excellent PC - well-made, quiet, impressive water-cooling and fast. Seems to run Crysis pretty well at 1900x1200 with most of the settings on very high (but without AA). Nothing bad to say about it. Only criticism is that the building time selected was "10-20 working days", and the ETA was immediately set to 20. Perhaps the site should just say 20 days. The machine was delayed a few more days due to a problem with the graphics card, but I was given a free upgrade from the Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX OC to the 8800GTX OC2 (626 vs 600 Mhz overclocked) to compensate for this. Pre and post sale support was very good, with any questions being answered same day (provided asked before 4pm-ish). Overall, top marks !

Well, what can I say? Unfortunately the beginning of my experience with my computer was not a good one. The couriers who delivered my PC were clearly inept at doing their jobs. It arrived broken several times and took a few weeks of sending it back and forth until I finally got the PC I paid for. I must stress this had nothing to do with Vadim, who were immensely supportive and helpful through this time. I did not pay for heavy duty packing where perhaps I should have (if I knew the couriers would destroy it so). Not only did Vadim constantly keep me updated, paid for the pickups and replacement parts (hdd, cpu, etc...) but they also changed parts of my order after I had made it, also with no extra labour charge. Vadim changed the red fans to blue and added XP pro and with no hassle at all. When, after many many days, I got my PC up and running I couldn't have been more impressed. The size of the thing is intimidating. It works like a dream, I can run whatever I want, have two monitors. It even sits on my desk like a piece of glowing modern art. Now, I picked "standard cable management" as this was free (lol) and when I took the side off I was astonished to find that this still meant every cable was neat, tied up and out the way, without being inconvenient. I installed a second hdd with ease. This really is the very best computer building company in the UK, perhaps even the known universe, and I buy everything from here now! Thanks, Vadim!

I have owned over the years various pc's built by various online builders, usually i go for the cheaper companies, but this time i thought i'd go with Vadim who always appear to show up on my search engine when i look for builders. This was admittedly a little more (just!) to pay, but reading the forum it was obvious that there are many happy members and more importantly they all were willing to give advice. So i configured my build, asked forum members for advice, changed it a bit then placed the order. I recieved my confirmation and the wait started!!! About now with other builders the communication is, well there is'nt! But Vadim kept in contact via the "account" panel and if i had a question it was always answered the same day by my builder. Infact he advised a change of case which resulted in a saving of £50 I chose the longer build 15 - 20 days and the pc arrived on day 21, only a day late because of testing problems. But it was delivered on a Saturday because it was late so i was very impressed with delivery. It arrived well packaged with a separate box containing manuals and spare bits. On unpacking and switching on i was blown away! It looks fantastic, without doubt the best looking pc i have ever owned. And as for the graphics......3D mark of over 13000! Will i go back to Vadim for my next build? YES

I bought a new watercooled and overclocked cross-fire based system from Vadim in January 2006. This was a significant financial outlay for me so my expectations were high. The guys at Vadim kept me fully informed throughout the order / delivery process and were really proactive in both making suggestions around my proposed spec, and in answering the numerous questions I had. When the system arrived, I was very impressed with the build quality - with the cable wrapping, various LEDs, and UV lighting, my system really is a thing of beauty. Performance has been great too - compared to my old systems, my new rig performed like a hare compared to a snail. More recently, a fault developed with my crossfire set up. Richard and Vincent at Vadim have both been extremely helpful getting this sorted out, firstly doing everything they could to sort the problem without me needing to send my PC back for repair, but when this became inevitable, they performed a repair / upgrade very quickly and kept me informed at all times. The net result is that now 2 years after purchase, I have been able to upgrade my system so that it can run the latest games (e.g. Crysis and COD4) with all the bells and whilstles turned on. Overall, my experience of dealing with Vadim has been outstanding - compared to the usual dire experience of dealing with many commercial organisations these days, Vadim has been a breath of fresh air. They are helpful, patient, keep you informed and don't patronise you / treat you like an idiot the way the support functions of some other companies do. Vadim are of course not cheap, but you get what you pay for - and the great service / support Vadim provide is worth every single penny. For anyone looking to get a fantastically built, well specced high performance PC, Vadim should be at the top of your list.

Received my new system in November but for various reasons, I was not able to set it up and fully configure it for some time. Now, having finally done the deed, I installed my current game of choice WoW on Vista 64 bit and maxed out all the graphics settings. This baby runs quiet and smooth - its damn awesome!! On my old system, - a well-known so-called high-end gaming PC, I was averaging about 45-50 frames per second with one or 2 of the settings lowered. This dropped to the low 30's when in graphic intense situations like a crowded BG or Instance. Now, I average about 150 FPS!!! - Just a simple comparison but hell - what an improvement!! I know the geeks out there talk incessently about bench-mark tets and rubbish some systems because they are 2 nanoseconds slower than something else and whilst these tests give a highly technical overview of expected performance, all I want to know is:- Is this a lightning speed system? - well you bet your *ss it is!! If you want gold class service from a system builder who knows what they are doing - then go for a Vadim. Sure their systems are not cheap but the build quality is fantastic and customer service superb. If you want to save a bit of cash and get mediocre service - then go somewhere else!

I bought the vadim computer for my son's Christmas. I first saw the vadmin on the Gadget show and said WOW! I've got to have that oops sorry my son! I found vadim to be a first class service. Adrain built my computer and I was kept informed at all times of what was happening. He did a first class job. When I recieved the computer it was well packed and protected. When my son and I opened it up and switched it on for the first time we were blown away with its style and looks, both my wife and daughter's jaws hut the floor, and my son was overjoyed! I can only conclude that vadim engineers are like a trained clock watch maker, who spend hours on a time-piece; every detail is lovingly thought-out. I am well impressed with the service and I wouldn't hesitate to come again! (and I will, I'm saving up one for myself! - if my wife lets me)

Well what can i say, simply stunning. I decided to wait before writing my testimonial because time is the ultimate test and my PC passed with flying colours, in the fifteen months that i have been using my PC i had to contact Vadim once and this was because my BIOS re-set itself, no drama, 2 emails later i was back up and running flat out, some problem solving later and i found out that IF i restarted my PC with my iPod connected in a USB port it wipes the BIOS memory!!! Splitting Hairs: Hummm what else, 2 of the front USB ports don't work, i only found this out 2 weeks ago because of where i had the tower the front ports were inaccessable, again no issues i have plenty of USB ports. You can see the glue on the front face of the reservoir and it looks just a little bit tacky. Some of the fans are starting to get "rattley" but i am a heavy user. That's it, one problem caused by 3rd party hardware and me splitting hairs. Now to eulogize about the power. Before this PC i've always built my own systems at a budget so nothing prepared me for epic speed of the thing, re-authuring a 8.5Gb film with 2 passes and burning 35min(ish), my last PC took about 2h40min(ish). When i comes to Gaming, advanced graphic options hold no fear on games about a year old (Hitman Blood Money,Trackmainia United) but some of the "next generation" of games (Crysis, The Witcher) are starting to show the age of my system. Nuff said, time to send my system back to the master builders for some upgrades.

I'm not a computer gamer. I've no interest in them...so why did I go to Vadim, noted for their gaming machines, for my new work computer? Apart from a few specialist items, a 'gaming' computer is just a powerful PC, and the reputation of Vadim had gone before them. I was not disappointed. The ordering process was efficient, I was kept informed during the building, and the delivery was only a day or two later than the ETA. The computer arrived superbly packed, and in good order. The quality of the build is excellent (thank you Richard) and the computer, so far, (fingers crossed) has worked perfectly. As far as I am concerned, this is the best built, and best working computer I have ever owned, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Vadim again. I haven't had to use the warranty yet, (and I hope I won't have to), but I'm sure that it is just as good. I had Vista 64 bit as my primary OS with the Vadim, against all the advice of the 'experts' (?) Why the negative vibes against Vista, and especially 64 bit? Every peripheral I have works fine, all my applications work fine...64 bit is great! Of course, if I were a gamer, that may be different, but I'm not, so Vadim, Vista, and 64 bit are the best in my book.

In order to give you as complete a picture, not only of the Computer itself, but also of the service you can expect from the people behind it; I have left this Report, until I have had one whole year's experience with it. The Computer. This is a bespoke computer, put together to meet my intended use, which Vadim call a "Custom" computer. I have two main uses for a computer: Desktop Publishing, and Video Editing. Both, the desktop publishing's Portfolio, and sucking-in a video from a camera, require huge amounts of hard-disc and memory capacity. To suck-in a completed video takes about ten minutes or so, depending on its length. There was a further requirement, that the "signal to noise ratio" of the Sound Card, be of the highest available. This card is intended for music use. For many years, I have been screaming at my computers, because of the incessant automatic up-dating of the various programmes, preventing me using the computer for serious work. Now, no longer is that the situation. This computer has "Duel-Core", and enables me to do serious work on the computer, without hindrance from other "background" programmes. In the past, I have lost everything on the computer, so, to prevent complete loss of data on this new computer, I requested RAID 1, but due to a misunderstanding, RAID 0 was provided. True, data can still be recovered using RAID 0, but it is a difficult task, and if I were to change this RAID 0 to RAID 1, I would lose everything; so I have been obliged to automatically backup of all my data: a thing I should always have done. I not only backup to the spare "Storage" drive on the computer, but also to two external USB Zip drives. This computer is the fastest I have ever used, with its four-gigabytes of memory, it handle's large files with ease. Although the computer largely uses the same components as a Gaming Computer, I have no need of games, so I am unable to comment on that application. The metal case of this computer is the finest I have ever seen. It has been made with high precision, and all of the covers can be removed and assembled in a few seconds; with great ease. Despite it having six or more cooling fans and three hard-discs within, it is remarkably quiet in normal operation. The care with which this computer has been constructed is breathtaking. The myriad of cables within, are gathered into sheathed cable-forms, and extremely painstakingly routed and tied-down throughout the computer. I have only previously seen this standard of workmanship in products of the prestige of the QUAD amplifier. Surely there must be a downside? No! There is not! It so happens, to my dismay, that I did have a power-unit failure. On contacting them, they collected and repaired the computer, and I was using it again within a few days. There was no hassle what-so-ever. The People of Vadim. Have you ever tried to order a computer from one of those large organisations, where one is held on the telephone, listening to canned music, only to be told to dial a different number; and then find you are talking to an ignorant person? That will not happen at Vadim. There, you will always be talking to the people that are going to make the computer for you. They are keen to understand your requirements, and then suggest a suitable specification. This Specification is complete with the Model Numbers of the components that they think would be best for your application. One can even access the individual specifications of each of the proposed components, so one can see exactly what is being suggested. One is able to discuss the specification, either online, or telephone; and it seems there is no limit to the depth of technical probing that they will assist one with. All of the personnel there seem to have an overwhelming desire to ensure a satisfactory outcome. The person that made the computer, is not ashamed to place his name, moulded in a stylish medallion, on the side of the computer. In the past, since 1983, I have bought three other computers, but none of those experiences can match-up to the satisfaction I have gained from these people at Vadim. I am completely satisfied with this computer, and all aspects of the people and services of Vadim. Without their very helpful expertise, I could never have obtained such an excellent computer. If I should need another, it is from Vadim that I would buy. Malcolm Thompson

I've had my Vadim PC for 9 months now. And overall I'm extremely happy with it and most importantly Vadims excellent customer service. The PC itself is a work of art. The attention to detail is simply stunning, even the most insignificant of cables are neatly managed and cut to length. I believe building a custom machine using top end components is a perilous task, which is why I went to Vadim to build my latest PC rather than do it myself. But even machines built by the experts at Vadim can have problems, it's somewhat to be expected that a certain percentage of machines will have component failures. That unfortunately is a fact of life. It's how failures are dealt with thats important, and anyone having dealt with typical examples of UK customer service departments will agree that it's usually a less than friendly experiance. So when my machine developed a problem, I feared for the worse! However, I soon found out that Vadim expect their PC's to be the best, and will frequently go above and beyond your expectations to get your machine back up and running. They even called me out of normal working hours, in their own time, to talk through the problems. Ultimately, despite having to send the PC and get it repaired, Vadim gets my thumbs up and recommendation to friends.

They say you can tell a lot about people and an organisation when things go wrong. I have heard a lot of good things about Vadim before I ordered and this was an area I liked the sound of. I am not at all disappointed to report that I have had no problems at all with my pc and therefore I cannot tell you how good Vadim are to make sure it works. My pc is fast reliable and quiet, I can also tell its efficiently dealing with heat as I do not need to heat the room it is in! I have had many pcs unremarkable in appearance, Vadim offered me the choice of going for something different. The pc fits very well with the wolf pictures round my house! I have seen a few airbrushed cases on the internet and was a little worried how good the artist is, well I can honestly say I am suprised how good his rendering of the wolves came out. If you want something different challenge your imagination!

Since I decided to use only laptops to save space, my gaming experience has been very limited. I decided to purchase a Vadim laptop in August (after alienware let me down) and freely admit that I had never heard of them before. Never the less after some research I went ahead and I have been absolutely delighted! The customer care is second to none. The computer is excellent; fast, well crafted and a joy to use: Despite my half century on the planet, I am thouroughly enjoying 'Oblivion' and the other graphics heavy games! My compliments to Vadim. I have no intention of buying my hardware from anywhere else in the future.

Excellent service from start to finish. Having purchased a PC from a cut-price competitor, only to have it broken on delivery twice and forced to return it, I was delighted by the excellent experience of shopping with Vadim. The website is fantastic, with a very easy to use configurator and a brilliant choice of hardware. The support from the forums in terms of choosing specs is amazing, both from staff and forum regulars, and outshines any other company's. The build times are a little slower than some rivals, but the end product is noticeably better: I chose the basic cabling management option, and still got much cabling than I received from the rival company, even having selected their 'professionl cabling' option. I managed to break it slightly on arrival (oops....), but Russell made an instant diagnosis and cure over the phone. The machine performs like a dream: 13250 3D2006 marks, fully loaded, and running Vista: I doubt many other companies could acheive at the price I paid. I have already recommended Vadim to a friend, and would do so again.

I can't say much more than what has been said already. But one thing I will say is - excellent service - even for someone who wasn't buying a monster gaming PC. I just needed a new workstation (~£1,000) that could run Visual Studio etc happily. I new pretty much what case/motherboard/RAM/HD/Graphics card I wanted, and was going to build it myself, when I found out about Vadim - and their excellent hardware customisation options (low and behold, everything I wanted initially I was able to get), and decided to let them to the 'dirty' work (plus you get the support if anything goes wrong). A few changes were made along the way, 1) Corsair memory changed to OCZ as Corsair unreliable - the OCZ was £10 cheaper; 2) Similar issue with the HD - 450GB changed to 500GB (no extra fee); - how many companies would do that? Excellent experience, I would definitely buy from Vadim again, and will recommend them to everyone who is interested.

Okay, where to begin. Well in January of this year I was ready for a new PC, had the funds in process, the search began. I hadn't bought a new PC in over five years and was satisfied with my previous supplier so went to them first. What they had on offer was good but it all felt a little impersonal, and a phone call to them proved me right. So I carried on hunting, bought some magazines, looked at a few websites. Nothing really grabbed me. Then my girlfriend referred me to the piece 'The Gadget Show' did on Vadim. Came to this website and was hooked, almost instantly. Firstly the website itself grabbed me, easy to use, easy to configure, good explanations on all the bits and pieces I wanted, from the mother boards to the set of headphones. Then I went onto the Forums. Just excellent. On there were not only Forum members but the staff too, I fed in my wanted specs and everybody offered sensible advice and suggestions, members and staff alike. I felt I could ask any question I wanted and everyone there (again members and staff) would come back to me, very quickly, with intelligent input. It is worth pointing out that I ended up saving money on the advice of not only the members but the staff also. Here, truly, is a company that thrives on customer service. So the time came, a whole seven months after its start, and I placed my order, actually spoke to the company on the phone and again the helpful advice was there on hand to help and guide me through. From there on in it was a doddle. At any stage I could check my order on the website and any query (via the website) was dealt with dilligently and quickly. At the same time I could also speak on the Forums and I did, and still do, and the whole experience was shared with me by everyone there, it truly was the personal touch. But all of this would be nothing without the product. Well what a product it is. You can just tell quality sometimes and everything about it is quality. You can tell that my assigned engineer (thank you Luke!) didn't just put the parts together and post it in a box, you can tell that there was care, attention to detail and, of course, sheer expertise in the building of it. I know, for a fact, that it wouldn't have left the factory in any less of a state. That is not to say that everything went smoothy, lets be honest, nothing ever does, but I am pleased to report that every hitch (and to be fair, none have been what I'd call major) has been handled professionally, curteously and, as ever, timely. I know that if anything ever did go wrong in the future I would have complete confidence in Vadim to resolve it. That, in itself, is something I believe money can't buy. It is a modern addage that you get what you pay for in this world, and whilst Vadim may not have been the cheapest option, I do not regret handing over a single penny of my money to them. I would not have any problem handing over another penny (or several) to them either. The Forum is a testimony to their loyal customer base. The company, the company ethos and the products they supply are the reason why. If you're looking for a new PC, seriously, your search just ended...

'What can I write for my testimonial, which has not been written before?' That is a question I have been asking myself for a couple of weeks now, as through all the other testimonials, people have covered the excellent choice of components, the build quality Vadim offers, and all the other things, which in my opinion, make them the only company I would ever buy a PC from again. However, I don't really think that quite covers what Vadim is as a company, and I will give you an example from my build to illustrate this. The case which I had originally ordered arrived to Vadim damaged, and they telephoned me to tell me this...they didn't send out a damaged case, and then say that it was the courier from then to me, they put their hands up to what happened. I was then offered a FOC upgrade to a new case, which would delay the build by only two days. That is a wonderful attitude on its own, but they also upgraded my hard drive for free as compensation - this is something I would never have dreamed of asking for, but they did it anyway. Then, as they were preparing to send out my PC, I suddenly learned of a possible incompatibility between the keyboard I had chosen and Vista. They put themselves out, and without asking for any sort of payment, went ahead and spent another day making sure that there were no incompatibilities. This attitude is what I believe makes Vadim special as a company, because even though not many companies do, any company could theoreticallycome along and offer the same components as Vadim does, and build their PCs in similar ways. But no-one else, no-one, would do so much for their customers. They have an excellent ethos of support, and seem to truly believe in putting the customer first. This is what makes Vadim, Vadim, and this is what makes them the best at what they do. I would just like to say another thank you to Mark, Russell, and all the other Vadim staff, who will undoubtedly be offering advice and tips on the Vadim forums for a long time to come. Keep at it Vadim!

The whole process of buying a PC from Vadim was been brilliant from start to finish. From the initial contact, I found them helpful and quick to respond - all my questions and worries (there were loads, spending big money has never come easy to me) were answered and I received excellent advice as to the build that would best suit my needs. With my mind at ease, I was able to place an order with confidence. I was assigned a specific person (hello Mark) who actually built my PC and he kept in touch with me throughout the process both by the website and by phone to let me know how it was going. When the PC was finished, it was delivered to my door by a member of staff (I was fortunate to live not too far away) and now that I've got the PC set up and had a chance to use it, I can honestly say that it has not only met, but exceeded all my expectations. I'm really pleased and I would have no hesitation recommending Vadim to anyone interested in getting a truely exceptional machine.

I have searched the internet for months, looking for a company who could provide me with a high end computer which suited my requirements and had a build quality and customer service to match. I can certainly say that Vadim is all of the above and more besides. I am a graphic designer by trade and needed a new workstation which could handle anything I threw at it, either 2D or 3D without slowing down. Vadim provided me with a wealth of options to choose from in their configurator some of which you won't find anywhere else, and the advice I got on which parts would work better with which was second to none. The customer service and advice I have recieved throughout the build of my workstation and after recieving it has kept me as a definite regular customer. I was even impressed with the packaging my system arrived in. I live in cornwall and my system arrived from the 200+ miles journey without a single problem on booting up. This is one customer who will do nothing else but promote Vadim to anyone else wanting to buy a system which has that little extra something the mass produced machines and the companies that produce them don't have.

Me and my monster. So this thing turned up on my doorstep. It was a Citylink delivery dude. And he asked me if I was feeling strong. I knew my new machine would be big but yegods I had no idea it would be this big. The delivery guy didn't actually believe it was a computer. Very slight teething issues with Crossfire that seemed to mostly be my fault :P Other than that this thing runs like a dream. I ran 3dmark06 on it and found myself in the top 3000 computers out of the 1.9ish million that had uploaded their results. This made me very happy indeed. I have had absolutely no issues so far in the general running of the machine. It even works as a convection heater keeping me warm in the wee hours of the morning.

Having watched a feature on the Gadget show, where a Vadim PC was featured, I thought, more out of curiosity than anything, “I’ll just have a look at their website”. I was very impressed with what I saw and filled in the contact form, describing roughly what I wanted, and my budget. This was at 8.30pm, by 10am the next morning I’d received an E:mail from Mark. Mark had put together a specification within budget, and posted it on the website. This meant I could view the components and experiment with the specification, trying different components out until I was happy. Mark offered me advice on how I could improve the performance of the PC. Once I’d ordered my PC, I received an E:Mail from Luke who would be building my machine. Luke kept me updated with the progress of my build and answered my questions. Eventually my PC arrived! I’ve never seen PC so well packed before, as well as bubble wrap on the outside there is bubble wrap on the inside of the case, to keep components in place. Vadim’s technical support is excellent, my queries were answered quickly usually by Mark, but also by Luke and Vincent. Detailed instructions on performing tasks such as flashing the BIOS were given, with offers to talk me through procedures. Having just one point of contact is excellent, no having to constantly re-explain the problem to different people, no premium rate numbers, no having someone reading off a script, or giving you cut and paste answer that doesn’t answer your question. My PC had go back to Vadim, but they arranged this around my holidays, picking the machine up before I went and returning it few days after I came home, My PC is now in the rudest of health. And the PC itself, well it is fantastic, a beautifully built machine, that goes like the clappers! Nothing seems to phase it. Usually when you get a new PC it’s really fast when you get it out of the box, but by the time you’ve installed all your applications on it, it has slowed down. Not this one ! The machine is also clean, Vadim leave it up to you whether you install the utilities that come with your devices, or the free trial edition of Norton that comes with the motherboard.

Well its been over 7 MONTHS since i purchased my system from Vadim and spending a few hundred shy of 5K (without monitor) i thought i wouldn't hastily post my whoopee joys until a real good test out. Being somewhat older than the mad hatter thats spends this sort of money on a rig, one thing that was apparent to me was that a report 6 months down its life cycle was never posted and i somewhat twitched at spending the Kids inheritance. So to all you people out there twitching, i can only say this, IT SUCKS, it blows and it still spits out other rigs on the market. I am somewhat of an online gamming junkie and i can max out and knock up FPS of 1000, yep 1000 (COD2) Thanx to all the crew at Vadim (now if they could only teach me how to shoot ;) )

Hello everyone. Thought I would take the time to share my experience of ordering a computer from Vadim. The ordering:- Vadim seem to have the ordering process off to a tee. It was actually quite enjoyable trying out the different options. After placing the original order I was kept informed via the Vadim information system which includes email updates and the ability to respond to a dedicated engineer who is assigned to you upon ordering via their website. I could have used the telephone as another option, but never felt the need to do so. I have to say that it is an excellent idea that a dedicated engineer is assigned to the customer, dealing with the build and not a nameless person hiding behind a company. I was contacted about some memory I had ordered and informed that there may be a problem with the lead time should it ever go faulty in the future. Vadim recommended another make which I gladly went for. The point here is Vadim care about what they are selling and are prepared to offer alternatives off their own bat. The recommended memory was cheaper as well in case you are wondering. I had in fact altered the order several times and received instant and friendly responses from Vadim. The build time was not affected by my changes which I was very impressed with. Vadim were also very good at giving advice should it be required. The delivery and usage:- The machine arrived exactly on time via courier. The delivery man opened the doors and pointed at the gigantic box which contained my new machine. It took the two of us to carry it in. I unwrapped the extremely well packaged machine, which was even packed inside to stop components moving around. First thoughts of the machine where, oh my god and I had that feeling a child gets at Christmas time. The machine oozed quality and you could see the care and detail which had gone into the build. I was very excited at the prospect of turning it on, and a little scared as the machine looked like a patient in hospital on the intensive care ward (the water-cooled system was a first for me). I switched the machine on and it came to life, only the lights giving up the fact that it was alive as the machine was super silent to my surprise. Vista (32 bit version) booted and within a few seconds I was ready to go. I have installed quite a few games so far and can report that the machine more than copes with these (all of which are on maximum settings!) and the games are transformed into a new experience. Games played so far are Halo2, Driver Parallel lines, Age of Empires 3, Call of Duty and Quake 4. The machine is super cool in both temperature and looks and hardly misses a beat even when being thrashed. The machine has a super fast on and off time which is a joy. Summary :- Ordering was pleasant, informative and straightforward. The build quality is truly astounding with great attention to detail - thanks to Vastimil who built and put his name to it. The case and components are of a very high quality. This machine is better than what I had expected and is worth every penny. As far as customer support is concerned, it is the best I have come across and feel confident that should I ever have any problems, I will be given the same level of service that I have received throughout the process. The whole experience has been both positive and enjoyable Thanks Vadim.

After building my own PCs for the last 15 years or so I was hestitate to buy a pre-built machine. However I felt that technology had moved on so much that I was reaching my own technical hardware know how. I have always wanted (make that needed!) the most top-end extreme performance and when I saw the spec for a similar machine in CustomPC I fell in love. The ordering process was smooth and the guys kept me upto date with build progress. When the courier arrived the PC was well packaged and my worries of any damage were soon gone. The machine booted, the water cooling system started & the neon lit up my office. Compared with my last gaming PC this thing runs near silent. So far I've not had any problems even with Vista! My games have now come alive now that i can set every setting to the max. I can seriously recommend Vadim to anyone how values performance, these guys build kick-ass PCs.

Hi, Just a quick line to say the Vadim guys are very professional and understand the needs of their clients. Throughout all stages of customising the Machine, I was never in the dark about the build and felt like the team were pulling all the stops to produce the very best results. The goal was always to produce a highly scaleable unit, capable of utilizing the new multi-core Intel chipsets due late '07 - and also to make the best use of Dual/Quad SLI GFX Cards, and the boys at Vadim have certainly delivered on that goal. After nearly a month of usage, I can safely say that even with high-demand usage of Adobe visual rendering products and High-Definition Codec’s running, the machine is always running cool and at a solid speed necessary to cope with the paces it has been put through. The difference between purchasing an 'off-the-shelf' system and a professionally-produced system really has no comparison at all - as this machine was made specifically for my needs, instead of the lowest common denominator of consumer taste (I think you know who I mean). All in all, I have already recommended Vadim Computers to friends, family, work colleagues and clients - regardless of their requirements. I could give 100 reasons why I recommend Vadim, but, the one I'm going to give will be enough:- They are the best, and that, above all else, is all that matters. Thank you Vadim :)

Only had my system a few days but can only say I'm very glad I picked Vadim to build it. Like many others, I saw the name on the Gadget Show and after years of building my own systems, after the problems I had with the last one decided to go with a custom build. With no indication that i was going to place an order, Mark answered all my questions amazingly quickly and comprehensively when others took days or didn't even reply at all. They have a superb selection of components and you can really put together the best system that suits your needs and/or price. Placing the order couldn't be easier and very quickly I was contacted by Luke who introduced himself and said he would be building my system. It's great to know you're in the hands of just one person who takes the time to get things right just for you. He answered all my questions during the build and any issues I've noted in the last few days are purely because of things I didn't think to ask about up front. For example, I fitted my own soundcard with drive bay I/O unit which with a bit of thought up front could have been made easier - or I should have sent it to be included in the build. Mine may not be the fastest or most expensive system out there but it's easily more than twice as fast as my previous one (AMD Atholon64x2 4200+, 7800GT SLI) and is eating up everything I've thrown at it while remaining reasonably quiet too. I even like Vista now I'm getting used to it. What more can i say? Superb build quality, amazing customer service (something sadly lacking in the UK these days) which makes you feel they really care about your custom and want to make sure it's done right and a great end result. So good to know the system has been fully tested and calibrated. Vadim may not be the cheapest but I have no regrets considering what you get for the money and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a cutting edge, qaulity custom build. Easily 10/10

Great PC, build took about 2 1/2 weeks. All question i had during the build were either answered via the webnotes or by me phoning the engineer directly. Upgrades were offered and accepted to upgrade my motherboard and CPU which was a nice option to have. Delivery was painless, one phone call a van is sent in a bullet proof box (securely) and within 2 hrs. And finally, and most importantly, the machine its self was great! Built like a pro, great parts, great build quailty And best of all it owns all my current DX9 games and im sure that future DX10 games will be eaten up too. Prior to the purchase of this PC, I did a fair amount of research. Read magazines, visited various websites etc. I stumbled across Vadim in PC world on the write up about their dream PC - Cepheus. Quite simply, I could not find another PC builder that offered the flexibilty, the quality of compenents or the sheer choice in specification as provided by Vadim. From the beginning when I started my search for my dream rig, the support sales team were helpful and friendly. Giving helpful and friendly advice on how to save money on a slightly lower clocked CPU for example, but overclocking it later. The process and ability to be able to keep in contact with Vadim throughout the build of the PC was another great advantage. As soon as I confirmed the order I received an e-mail from Vlastimil introducing himself and letting me know that he would be building my PC. Throughout the process both he and George were very understanding as I kept changing the spec slightly right up until the last week of th build. They always offered friendly advice. This is not the cheapest build out there, but yhe machine I have received is both quick and quiet - I could not have done better elswhere and have the comfort of knowing that if anything should go wrong, will be quickly put right. It is quite simply - a beast. There have been some minor issues, but then I went for a brand new Abit board, 8800GTX card, windows Vista 64 bit and office 2007. These have all been driver related however and have been quickly resolved with some help from Vlastimil. Vlastimil, George and Kandice - thanks for your help. Good machine. Highly recommended.

I liked the Vadim machine I was given to put in the ring against a PS3 so much…. I bought the company! Okay, I didn’t buy the company, but I did buy the rig.

And what a solid gold purchasing decision was that? It’s been a couple of years since I properly upgraded and I’ve grown tired, dead tired, of choosing to stay grounded in Microsoft Flight Simulator X; wait for the baddies to render before sticking my head round the corner in Advanced Warfighter and not even get past install on Rainbow Six: Vegas. So it came as something of a surprise when the carefully manipulated 12 FPS I was beginning to find acceptable in my favourite game WW2Online jumped to a reliable 150+ when I booted up my new machine.

I’ve been gaming for longer than most of today’s hardcore gaming crowd have lived. Really, it was 1982 when I was first fraggin’ (not that you can call four pixels and a frame rate of 5 on Manic Minor fraggin’). What I’m getting at is that I’m coming from a base of experience – so when I say my Vadim machine has rocked my gaming world, you can trust me. And I’m not being paid to say this, I haven’t been coerced any, I am writing this because I appreciate good customer service, value for money, and pixel shifting technology that’s second to non.

And I just dig the database; yes I know that makes me sound like uber geek numero uno, but I loved the process of being able to design my own system with such ease. Indeed, I’ve stopped by since, just to ‘window spec’.

One tip. Go for a less expensive processor than you actually need and then chuck a Vadim overclocking package in your trolley. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no slouch, I’ve installed liquid-cooling myself over the years and messed with overclocking on and off for as long as I can remember. But there’s a difference when Vadim’s surgeons don their gloves and get under the belly of you new machine. The difference is that they really know what they’re doing and they can bring your sophisticated speed machine within a couple of inches of total meltdown and still keep it healthy.

Oh yeah, and the result of the battle between my new rig and the PS3? My machine kicked it’s skinny Sony ass.

This is a very serious piece of kit - the hottest PC I've ever indulged in. I can heartily recommend Vadim to anyone who wants to have a *very* high level of control over the configuration of the machine - they give you the best of both worlds, by letting you choose from a frighteningly large list of options for all the components and then building it for you (I've tried building a few lower-spec PCs, and it's always a high-stress point when you come to switch them on for the first time!). Communication through the ordering and building process was excellent.

You remember what it was like when you were a kid and you wondered what it was like to drive at 100mph in a Rolls Royce? Well, this is the equivelant of that in the PC world. From the moment you place your order you are treated like you are the only customer in the world. Chatting to the guy (in my case Luke) who is building your PC gives you that warm fuzzy glow you want when you have just parted with a rather large wodge of cash! Not long into the conversation, you realise that your builder is both knowledgable and honest - advising you if you have maybe bought a component that is not so good, and nudging you away from any crazy ideas you might have about the build! I have been building PCs for myself for the last 15 years and this time wanted the luxury of an expert custom build and boy did I get that! Vadim take their time, there's no rush - everything needs to be right and it will be ready when it's ready. If you are an impatient soul, you maybe should look elsewhere (or choose form Vadims pre-built selection). My system took just under 3 weeks to build. Here I am now, typing away on it whilst occaisionally looking back and admiring the simply stunning piece of engineering silently purring in the corner. Can you fall in love with a metal box with lights? Maybe I am crazy? Indeed I probably am, but I am very, very happy.

I recently read in Custom PC magazine about the awesome gamesmachine that was put together by Gareth Ogden and Vadim computers that totally blitzed all in its path. Well I had to have it but it was already sold on to a very happy guy. However Vadim went one better on the design by upgrading the motherboard and swapping the GeForce7950GX2 with an 8800GTX. Luckily the original was sold on without the cool side panel and I have now got it fitted on my machine so it also looks really cool as well albeit rather large. In fact this machine is so big I had to make a little more room for it than I thought and it now sits right next to me at eye level at all times, which is fine cos it looks so good. Performance. Well playing online half life games has pushed my fps from the early 20s to the 150-200 mark. This machine is so fast now that the human eye cannot keep up. Build quality is second to none and the afterservice is first rate as well.

I received the Vadim Fusion CS Intel-775G2-SLI on December 15th 2006 about 2 weeks after ordering. My first bit of advice to the reader is if you know nothing about computers, and are about to buy you first computer Don't buy one from Vadim. Why? because this is a monster of a machine, I doubt you could get a more powerful, well built PC for your home as this Vadim. What I am trying to say, if you have just passed your driving test, you don't go and buy a Rolls Royce as your first car. I have had many computers and bought from most of the manufacturers. I was expecting many problems, but using e-mail it all went very smoothly, they even suggested some items that were practically the same and saved me over £300! They made me feel at ease and kept on e-mailing the progress of the build. Nothing is perfect, I have had a few problems, but that has just been software related which I have managed to sort out myself. My Biggest surprise was with at least 8 fans, and the water cooling how quiet it was!! When I had seen the size and felt the weight of this monster I thought I would have to wear earplugs, amazing, just amazing. I've only had it 3 weeks if you want to know how I feel about Vadim in 6 months feel free to ask, but at the moment with all honesty Vadim ARE the best of the Best! Thanks to Luke who built it and advised me. Only bad thing is I need sleep I cant drag myself away from it.

I initially purchased a PC from another company about three months ago; I had nothing but problems from the outset. Eventually the PC was returned. As a result I decided to order a similar spec machine from Vadim after reading excellent reviews on various independent PC forums. From the outset Vadim were very professional and helpful. The online ordering process was simple and offered a much wider choice than I had seen elsewhere. I was therefore able to build a PC that has very closely met my needs, and I only paid for what I wanted rather than having to accept a ‘standard’ setup. After ordering the PC I received an email from George who informed me that he would be building my PC and answered my questions promptly and satisfactorily. It was especially refreshing to have one person and a name to contact rather than a generic 'customer service dept'. The PC arrived within the stated time period and was impeccably packaged. It was very clear that time had been taken to ensure that it arrived in the state that it left Vadim. After using the PC for a week I have not had a single problem with it (touch wood), it is faster than anything I have used before (And I use a very powerful computer at work). It powers through my video and photo editing and financial models without breaking a sweat. I should note that it is more or less totally silent. Vadim may have been slightly more expensive (but not much) than the competition but the build quality and unrivalled level of customer service more than make up for this. I also asked several questions of George after my PC had arrived and he continued to respond promptly, it seems the customer service does not end at point of ordering. The moral to the story is you get what you pay for. I will certainly be using Vadim again and have recommended them to friends who are in the market for a new PC. Keep up the good work Vadim.

This company was outstanding, the service and attention to detail is remarkable. The machine i ordered is watercooled and pressure tested to something like 25 times the normal waterpressure which is useful as when it was delivered by the couriers it was upsidedown. No leaks what so ever, i was impressed. This machine achieved 18050 3D marks on 05 and that was with a little tweaking. They install all the necessary drivers etc, and no extra gubbins that isn't needed, unlike many other custom pc producers. I would recommend this company to anyone, and i will most certainly be purchasing parts/systems from them in the future. Thank you Vadim.

The machine Vadim built for me is simply awesome! The build quality is superb, with excellent cable management and red lighting which looks great. Fan placement and airflow is excellent too, making sure things stay cool under heavy load. Everything is configured just the way I wanted it and expertly put together. The Performance is fantastic, as this machine makes every game I throw at it really fly, with all the detail settings at maximum; and naturally, it's totally stable throughout. All of this is backed up by unrivalled customer service, technical support and by far the best web site of any system builder out there. Configuring the machine was a joy in itself, with Vadim's extensive configuration options and easy site navigation, and at all times I was kept informed about the progress of the build. It took under two weeks for the whole machine to be built, tested and shipped and I was very impressed with the speed of their service. Packaging was great and ensured the machine arrived in perfect working order. All in all, the computer is a work of art and Vadim offer the best service around. I've used Vadim before and I'll use them again. Thank you Vadim! :)

Ok here is the deal, you may of seen cheaper custom systems out there on the internet, but you would be hard pushed to find customer servces like vadim's. from start to finish they answered all my queries in a fast and friendly manner within 1 hour! also the times I did contact them by phone, they answered straight away. The online configarator is one of the best i have seen and is very upto date. On to the build, even with the basic 3 fan options and basic internal cable option I was amazed by the build quality, very neat and tidy and looks great with those blue neon fans :) The pc is very fast with my conroe 6600 and artic 7 cooler + 8800gts :) The airflow inside is great with my cpu coming in at 25c idle and less than 35 full load. I had a couple of issues with the motherboard not remembering the settings but I feel this is an issue with the new abit AW9D max boards and I await an updated bios to sort the problem out. Along with a floppy drive cable which was installed the wrong way round, whiich the tech support helped me sort out in 5 mins. So to sum up, if you want a system you can configure and top notch customer services then go with vadim!!one else build go with vadim

After building my first computer led to heat/noise/crashing issues, I decided that its replacement (to be used principally for gaming, but also for some working from home) would be put together professionally. The Custom PC magazine articles brought Vadim to my attention and so I gave them a ring for some pre-sales advice. The queries I had were all answered sensibly and, most importantly, did not result in the most expensive product being recommended. In fact their suggestions for memory and motherboard gave me a saving from what I had orginally considered, allowing me to upgrade elsewhere. It was great to be able to keep tabs on the progess of the machine's construction and to add comments and queries. When it was finished, arranging delivery was fantastically easy and precise and the computer arrived securely packaged and with all necessary CDs, cables and strange extra things included by the motherboard manufacturer etc. There were a couple of issues when it was first turned on, but George arrived early at my flat on a Saturday morning and sorted everything out there and then. It is now running like a dream - it is very fast, and, equally importantly, extremely stable and quiet. This was definitely money well spent - many thanks Vadim!

I would like to thank everyone at Vadim for such a great service from beginning to end. They have built for me THE perfect PC at the maximum level of professionalism and speed i have ever had from any company i have dealt with in the past, and i am sure in the future. I placed my order on a Thursday evening and FIRST THING Friday morning i had a very nice guy called Luke introduce himself to me and offer me some advice on the components i had chosen and told me he himself would be responsible for building my new PC. Yes that's right people - a person - an actual human person contacted me, in this day and age, and actually spoke to me. Now i am not taking the Mickey AT ALL because i have dealt with so many companies over the years, whether it's for a service or consumer products, and NEVER once have that company greated me and offered advice to me on first contact. If Vadim Computers ever branch out into world politics - watch out - they'll be ruling the planet. Anyway i digress - my PC - it ROCKS ! It's the fastest PC i have ever owned, it's by far the quitest PC i have ever owned and compared to every other PC i have owned (whether it's from an independant company or a major manufacturer) it's by far the most professionally put together piece of kit i have ever spent a shed load of cash on. I am running some pretty heavy software and absolutely HUGE files and this machine copes a lot better than the PC i use in work on a daily basis, and that one is no slouch either ! Thank you Vadim and especially Luke for your care and attention. I have told everyone i know about your great company and service and will continue to do so. I know exactly where i am coming for my next PC

There service is fantastic as they kept me informed all through the building process and answered any question I asked them quickly. If you are looking to spend a decent amount of money of a high spec PC then get it from Vadim as I myself looked at other companies but none of them could even come close to the computer Vadim have built for me.

We were attracted to Vadim by a PC Pro article (September 2006 edition). The machine was optimised for Photoshop and this required fast processors, memory and video, adequate storage and a dedicated disk as a “scratch drive”. Agreeing the specification with Vadim was quick and pleasurable as their staff have an encyclopaedic knowledge of hardware and do not over-specify or waste money. The build of the machine was delayed for one week by the late delivery of a Supermicro board. Probably due to our own errors, the machine crashed shortly after delivery and XP had to be installed from scratch. Since then the machine has been entirely stable, quiet and acidly fast. In every aspect, it performs very well. The build quality is excellent. Vadim are approachable and sympathetic to customer concerns and requests. Performance, quality and service at this level does not come cheaply. The machine cost nearly £5,000 (including VAT). However, it should last for three years and will be driven hard every day. Working with Vadim was a pleasure and we heartily recommend them.

Well - they all say you get what you pay for! In this case, it is true... It all started with the need to buy a new PC to play Everquest. My old P4 2.2Ghz, with 1Gb of Memory and a FSB of 400Mhz, was constantly blue screening which meant going link dead during gameplay and my poor old character getting a right old kicking as a result. I had been saving £2 coins and kept browsing for new machines to buy, with the guys in the office (my boss being the worse culprit) egging me on to buy the biggest, best, and as a result the most expensive bit of kit on the market. The machine which we had all named 'The Beast' had started out as a £3,800, AMD FX62 machine configuration with Quad SLI from 'another' manufacurer, but then Intel released the Core Duo Extreeme. The 'other' manufacurer could not deliver Quad SLI with the Core Duo (Some motherboard restrictions with the one model of ASUS they were using), so my search was back on for the ultimate machine... they say it could not be done... then I found Vadim! It was late afternoon in my office in London, the guys were all egging me on, saying 'you're not going to buy it' and 'you are all talk!' I had showed the the spec that I wanted, and I had been given the green light by her in doors to buy it... Now, I'm no stanger to spending a lot on my PC habit (I guess it is a lot healthier than drugs or drink), my last little machine mentioned above cost £2,500 without monitors about 3-4 years ago, when I bought the components and built the machine myself... but for just over £5K (again without monitors) I was starting to get a little concerned... is this going too far ? Should I indeed turn to drink or drugs as a cheaper alternative ? I left the office later that evening after pressing the 'Submit order' button on Vadim's site with a big grin on my face ! I had mailed the guys in the office with a copy of the spec, and on the train on the way home my phone was ringing... 'you didn't did you ?' was the common asked question... and my answer was 'I sure did!' And then came the wait... Now, it's my view that if you want something good, it is worth waiting for. And indeed I said this in the order comments dialogue. For those reading this that do not have an account set up with Vadim, I must say this is a brilliant feature on the site. You can ask questions, and shortly after an engineer from Vadim will answer or post updates on the build as it progresses. I received the machine a couple of weeks later - I did say do not rush, and there was a bank holiday in between. I am still unpacking it, and looking through all the enclosed parts and documentation. To say I am happy is an understatement. The machine is a work of art ! I have only just unpacked it and turned it on (am writing this on it now). I can tell it is right by the way it has just kicked into action. I work with systems for a living, and I have seen some pretty good set ups. I always said I would not go for one of those silly machines with lights all over it... it is a bit like one of those cars with neons, blacked out windows and a loud sound system. But I must say, the inners that all light up are a work of art. I have just this afternoon likened it to an Aquariam, which is soothing and relaxing to look at - the bonus is you don't have to clean it out every week ! As you can probably work out I am still excited. The Vadim machine may not be called 'The Beast' on their site, but the name has stuck. The wife even refers to it as 'The Beast', and from what I have seen so far earns that title by just looking at it. It feels good to have the fastest, baddest kick ass PC out of all my friends and peers - Thanks Vadim ! Money well spent - just got to start saving to treat the wife now :o)

I have had a lot of problems getting this PC working, but this is not a condemnation of Vadim but a piece of praise for them. The process of ordering the PC, discussion options for changes or upgrades, and the wait for it to arrive was a delight. I was constantly informed of what was happening and offered advice and options at all stages by phone, e-mail and on the web site. It almost felt as though I was there building the machine with them. The problems started when the PC arrived, the graphics simply did not work. When I phoned Vadim they were talking to me until midnight on a Friday night, beyond the call of duty. On the Monday they arranged for an engineer to come out and when he could not sort it out quickly a courier was called and the PC returned to Vadim. The problem turned out to be trivial and the PC returned immediately in full working order. It is a dream machine, the water cooling and laser cut panel make it look great, the hardware inside makes it work great. It is like a Ferrari compared to a Ford, it does the same job as a normally decent PC but in such a nicer way. Vadim have claimed a customer with me.

I had never heard of Vadim Computers before, but had been hunting for a custom built system from a supplier I could rely on. The hunting was proving fruitless because I wanted quality and none of the on-line suppliers I looked at seemed to fit the bill. There was always compromises to be made. I read a review of one of Vadim's systems in Custom PC and was impressed. I checked out the web-site and was even more impressed by the obvious attention to detail and quality of the work put into the PC's on display. I decided I had to get one and was helped every step of the way by the staff at Vadim - the customer service was fantastic - I could tell they cared about the machine they were building and were genuinely enthusiastic about making the best PC possible. The end result was exactly that - a quality powerhouse PC built up from the best components. It's perhaps not the flashiest looking (that was my own decision) but it's pretty on the inside and eats games for breakfast. The antartic cooling & overclocking options were money well spent - the system is fast, cool, quiet and stable. I would not hesitate to recommend Vadim - quite simply best in class.

Paying thousands of pounds for a computer to be custom built is sometimes daunting, because some companies seem to offer great prices but you later find their products to be inferior. I came across Vadim.co.uk when I used a search engine with the criteria "custom built gaming PC". The website was very well designed but they were in stiff competition for my money from another website (remaining nameless). The alternative to Vadim offered a much lower price, but after asking some technical questions, I realise their products were not quite as high spec as I would have liked for the money I was spending, e.g. Value select Corsair memory instead of XMS. So I took the plunge, priced up my dream PC with Vadim, then sent it through. They were very quick to give advice on what would save me money. They offered overclocking as an alternative to paying nearly £300 more for the top spec CPU. They were also quick to respond to the slightest change I had. This PC was expensive but it has been worth it. The first time I loaded windows on my 74gig Raptor, I noticed the difference between my old PC and this one. The UV Modding was well worth the money, making my PC stand out from anything else at LANS. I am also glad I invested in the Antarctic cooling allows me to customise fan speeds etc. The HARDCANO that was supplied also has a built in MMC reader which was a nice suprise too. Vadim also built my PC in only a week of my order going through, even though I did not pay for that paticular service. There was one problem with my 7900gtx, but it was definately not Vadim's fault in my opinion. I have done alot of research into the fault and it seems alot of 7900gtx stock boards can suffer problems similar to the one I experienced. However, Vadim answered my emotional questions about the problem with professionalism and respect. They empathised that I had spent alot of money for this gaming machine and felt disappointed about the graphics card situation. They were quick to offer me a solution instead of trying to cover their own behinds, unlike some other online computer component retailers. We came to a quick resolution where I decided to purchase a new 7950 gx2. What I liked the most about their response to my problem, other than the fact they answered my questions on a Sunday (honestly it was a Sunday afternoon), was that they agreed to send me the 7950gx2 and collect the 7900gtx at the same time, not needing me to go through a long and arduous RMA procedure - again unlike some other online stores. Vadim's online comment/reply service is awesome and all of my quesitons were answered fully. They also telephoned me with any comments and/or changes that needed immediate approval. I often found myself reviewing the spec of my new machine during it's build, almost like a child at Christmas! Thanks Vadim - I know who to recommend to my gaming friends!!!

The best PC company I have ever dealt with without a doubt. Everything from ordering to delivery went without a problem. They were also on hand to discuss all the hardware I was originally going to order and advise on any changes. They even took the time to find out which heatsink would work best with my setup as they thought the one I had specified wouldnt give the best performance. My new system not only meets but also exceeds my expectations. It renders 3d Max scenes at twice the speed of the dual Xeon workstations at work, and runs Far Cry and Doom3 at Ultra Quality settings at 1280x1024 without breaking a sweat. Of course it also looks the mutts nutts inside and out! Needless to say all my harware purchases in the future will be through Vadim. I've also told everyone, including the IT manager at work, to buy their hardware from Vadim Thanks again.

Why did I chose Vadim in the first place? To begin with a little bit of luck. I had spent the best part of 2 months trawling through the online configurators of all the big name PC manufacturers. All offered some good packages but, without exception, a compromise in one area or another compared to my "ideal" system. I quite by chance found the name "Vadim computers" as a authorised dealer on an advert for Enermax PSUs or someone like that. The website had my attention from the word go, well laid out, easy to navigate and a very cool, but professional, look. Even if you have no intention of buying a new PC in the next year go to the web site and you'll just enjoy selecting and swapping components to can make a real Frankenstein style creation, a thing of real beauty or a performance monster. Each time you choose a component the image changes to show the "actual" likeness of the component rather than a "guideline image". Of even more use is to click on the "info" link which gives you plenty of data to help you decide if you like the choice aesthetically, for performance, for practicality or any combination of these. Having selected what I referred to as my base settings I gave them a call to discuss best ways of achieving performance/extra £ spent. After achieving this goal I had some pounds left to spend so on impulse I went for "Supreme cable management and UV modding". That turned out to be the best "impulse" buy I have ever experienced. The only thing that did bother me was that I had not heard of the company before and I was about to shell out a considerable sum. I decided I ought to use credit card rather than debit just in case something untoward was going on. I browsed a few message boards in search of discussion threads. I found very few and all seemed to be saying they had never heard of Vadim but a friend had recommended them for components. It is my guess that there are a lot of people out there with similar scepticism of the unknown and as a result tend to plump for the known companies and I am hoping this testimony will give them confidence to use Vadim in the full knowledge that they are very much genuine and I would think soon to become The big name. Once I'd gone ahead and agreed the purchase I was unable to stay away from the site. I had to fill in the details, like which fans were going to be used in the chassis and on the XFX 7800 GT cards, what colour cabling and cathodes could be used. I also discovered that once I had an account with them I could open a message history where I could ask about components, request changes, change them back again, then go for something completely different. Always, there was a rapid and helpful response. When it arrived I was dumb-struck, it looked awesome, just completely stunning. It sat on the living room table for half an hour while I just looked at it in tiny detail. I was woken from my daydream by my wife, who for all her "waste of money" stance wanted to see it "with its lights on". So I powered it up and turned out the living room lights, it would seem I just sat there smiling. I know this because apparently my teeth look terrible under UV light. To be honest, I really don't have the words to do it justice so I'd be happy to e-mail a piccy to anyone asking (Cowpers@hotmail.com). It is now a showpiece at home, not one that any of my immediate family will appreciate, but a showpiece all the same. OMG...I nearly forgot....it runs a pretty fine (1600 x 1200) game of HL2 as well.

They have a large selection of products to choose from to build up a system exactly how you want it and the build quality is exceptional. They more than match the main-stream computer companies, and in many ways, especially on price surpass. I would highly recommend Vadim to anyone who wants a well priced, well built custom Pc with peace of mind that it will be done properly.

I was impressed with the Vadim build quality, and the high spec offered for the price. More importantly for me, Vadim coped very will with my rather non-standard requests (RAID 5, non-standard system disk lettering and 64-bit OS). Due to my own decision to rebuild my PC slightly differently when I had had it for a few days, I found that many of the CDs supplied with drivers and installation software were 32-bit versions. This could perhaps be addressed by Vadim one day (maybe a custom Vadim 64-bit driver CD?) but in the meantime, I was treated to prompt, friendly and knowledgable support (thanks Dave!) for the week or two it took me to get sorted out. This was particularly impressive, as these problems were largely of my own making, and Vadim were not legally obliged to help at all.

The Performance of this machine is pretty amazing, loading windows xp 32bit in around 3seconds after the bios loaded, The 64Bit Processor and GeForceFX 5700 is brilliant for gaming, Played hours of Unreal Tournament 2004 the temprature not increasing one bit. Compared to my older machine I have that runs at around 45'c this machine is very cool Idle tempreture of around 29'c and full load of 32'c Brilliant side pane to see whats going on in there, and the front blue-green light is bright and stylish. I would highly recommend this machine to anybody that is looking for something with POWER!
