The SteelSeries Ikari Laser mouse was specifically designed with RTS and MMO gamers in mind. Therefore it features programmable macros and custom settings designed to increase the users Actions Per Minute (APM) count. Tournament gamers can program the mouse from home and the driverless features enables the mouse to remember settings and macros when plugged into tournament computers - even without installing drivers.
The advanced SteelSeries XY2 laser engine supports resolution settings with increments of only 1 CPI, which for the first time ever gives the user the ability to fine tune the mouse exactly to his personal reaction pattern.
The CPI toggle feature redefines the idea of “on-the-fly” CPI switching, by using only one click to switch between two values. Because of the built in LCD display, the two CPI values can even be changed without using a driver.
The gaming grade engine used in the SteelSeries Ikari Laser utilizes a new way of analyzing tracking, reaching 40.000 SPS (or around 5 times the speed of conventional laser technology).
SteelSeries FreeMove technology makes it possible for the user to adjust the movement stabilizer - a feature that has never been possible in gaming mice before. This means that the user is no longer tied to using the preferred stabilization setting of the manufacturer.
