Question:
I switched the PC on today and is working fine except that there is a continous beep coming from my PC and nothing i do stops it. (04/04/2007) Answer: Microsoft released on the night of 04/04/07 to 05/04/07 an update that messed up with the t-balancer software. The T-Balancer works independently of your PC so all the settings that make your system run will be saved and working correctly but the software will be showing errors. There are a few things that can be done to sort it out: • De-activate the acoustic alarm via the Software To do this go to the 'Start' bar (or in the case of Vista the windows logo in the bottom left of the screen) followed by 'all programs'. Next you will need to locate 'mCubed' from there open the software for the T-Balancer which is called 'T-balancer Navigation'. Next go to ‘Configuration’, followed by ‘Alarm’ and uncheck all the boxes. • Reload the original profile To do this go to the 'start' bar (or in the case of Vista the windows logo in the bottom left of the screen) followed by 'all programs'. Next you will need to locate 'mCubed' from there open the software for the t-balancer which is called 'T-balancer Navigation'. Once you have this software open go the ‘load/save profiles’ and load the profile named ‘Vadim’. If this profile is not present then you can download the necessary files by clicking here You will need to upload both the ‘Transfer config file’ and the ‘Vadim’ profile to the T-Balancer. You will see there is two ‘import’ buttons in the software (one for each of them). Once you have imported both files, highlight the Vadim profile and click ‘Transfer’ and then do the same thing but this time clicking ‘Save profile’ • reinstall the T-Balancer drivers and software and set up a new profile for the fans.
