Answer:

Each system we sell is made to order and as such no 2 systems are the same. Therefore, when overclocking is sellected, each machine goes through a series of procedures that we do to ensure the stability:
- Find the highest setting the system will boot by adjusting a multitude of settings in the BIOS
- Downclock it a bit and run a selection of stability programs in a specific combination that are able to reveal any problems. Unfortunatelly, we are not able to disclose exactly what applications or combinations of applications we use and how we use them, however a few of them are: prime95 (one instance per core) running at the same time together with 3dmark06 for testing the graphics card stability at the same time. Just this procedure will stress a system more than any other real life aplication you may have.
- When we found a setting that we believe is stable, we run the same tests with the side pannels closed in a temperature controled environment (30C) for at least 24 hours. This procedure ensures that the system wont overheat under higher than average environmental conditions.
