After updating the BIOS on my Asus A8N32-SLI to the newest 1205, my sound started to crack and be really annoying. Has my sound card been damaged, or have I done anything wrong? (21/06/2006)

Answer:

No, thats is something to do with Creative and the Nvidia drivers. For some reason, Creative X-FI won't work very well in some SLI system until a new update for the BIOS/drivers is released. There are 3 options to get the system working again:

• Install an older BIOS - 1103
• Disable SLI
• Use the onboard sound until Creative can provide new drivers
