So you can get all the freeview channels without an arial? I'm also thinking of buying a freeview box but am not sure if where I live has a signal. How do I find out? (07/05/2006)

Unfortunately you can not get any freeview channels without an aerial on any device unless you are located in the transmission centre...
For the best signal and reception it is always a good idea to connect the digital TV tuner to an external roof-top aerial. An internal aerial might do the job, but it does depends on your location.To find out if where you live has freeview you can use this link: http://www.freeview.co.uk/home
