When I try to place an order, it says that there might be delay when using Hotmail or Yahoo email addresses? These accounts are not always free as you can choose to pay for them so as not to lose the account if it is inactive for 30 days. Also, many people are now going this direction and not using ISP email, as when you change ISP you also lose the email address. (18/02/2006)

Unfortunately it is impossible to distinguish between a free hotmail account and a paid hotmail account. The majority of fraudsters use free email addresses as it is not possible to track their identity.

Whenever a new order is received  from such an email address, the system automatically checks other factors in more details than usual, e.g. electoral roll, risk associated with the specific address etc. Normally there isn't any delay in doing that and it is done in real time. If you are confident that your address is not blacklisted or you provided a landline telephone number where we can contact you, there is no need to worry ; the order wont be delayed at all so please buy with confidence.
