For those who do not know the Nvidia 7950GX2 graphics cards, they are the latest offering from Nvidia and as yet do not have any coolers apart from the stock coolers that come with the card. In order to keep the 7950 cool we had a one of a kind water block specially made, with the help from the lovely people at Aqua Computers. This will not remain a one of a kind. The product will come in retail sales in the next week or so now and we should stock it too.

Nvidia 7950GX2 with AquagraphX water block.

The waterblock is made of aluminium, cooper and stainless stell and covers the 2 GPUs and all the memory modules to keep it as cool as you can think of it - 35-40C on idle and 40-50 on high load. Our stock card overclocked easily to 610Mhz on the GPU and 1600 on the memory. It can go higher probably, but only with voltmods that we didnt do. Anyway, considering that the stock cooler has no other alternatives to get the noise down and the heat away, this block must sound a real must have for those that are not afraid of liquid cooling and have a 7950GX2 card. We are yet to confirm the retail price, but it it seems that  it wont cost more than £100 ex VAT.
