Here at Vadim computers we always like to experiment and see what we can come up with and it would appear that this time our R & D team have come up with one hell of a machine. Recently with Intel releasing the Xeon (Woodcrest) processors it meant that AMD were left to struggle. However we should know by now to never ever count out a company like AMD who dominated for so long the gaming market. When striking back at the Woodcrest AMD took a page out of Intel book with the release of the Opteron Socket F processor series, by having them pin less. So now we have been introduced to the AMD Opteron Socket F, lets find out a bit about it. They feature the 12xx series designed for single CPU usage, the 22xx series which are 2 way processors designed for workstation use and the 82xx series which are 8way processors and are designed for dealing with major amounts of information (replacement for rendering farms). They are all dual core and have 1207 pins. They have DDR2 support and the 12xx and the 22xx series are somewhat overclockable, which is nice.

Because these processors are new, they are in high demand, which means that they are hard to get. So we thought that because we had them at our disposal we would have some fun with them. When we say have some fun with them, we mean making one absolute monster of a machine, which eats any other machine in its path, spits out the screws then laughs about it.
