So after such impressive results, how can we conclude our review of the Conroe? This is truly a showcase processor and cannot be condemned into the confines of a mundane system designed for simple number crunching. This is a processor that must be surrounded by equally superior counterparts to get the best out of it. With what the Conroe has shown us, we can definitely assume that there is more of this to come. This is a processor that will become the new envy of overclockers and gamers around the world. Currently Intel has the edge in the laptop market and with the Conroe will have the edge in desktop market. It is unclear just exactly what is to come in the following years from competition; AMD is a company that can never be counted out or underestimated. However, it would appear that Intel have struck a powerful blow to the competition and for now Conroe is a winner and there are no doubts about that. Another clear fact is that ATI's Crossfire seems to do extremelly well with the Conroe CPUs that we will show in the next article on scorring 21000 3dmark05 points that is over 35% more than what you can achieve from the best AMD configuration.

Time to upgrade folks!
