In this artcile we show one of our highflow 1/2" ID watercooling systems modded with AC Ryan stuff, present the 15" llightweight gaming laptop and we test the first crossfire boards
- Liquocool Antarctic2 - our non coductive, high performance liquid cooling
- Fusion+GL+M570L - Intel Centrino based gaming laptop
- Crossfire - ATI's alternative to SLI
1) For now we would like to show yet another dual core SLI system. Its unique feature is the cooling system that is based on our in-house designed high performance - 'Liquocool Antarctic 2' that consists of:
-
1/2" ID diameter tubes
-
Polarflo chipset and CPU blocks
-
Silverprop GPU Blocks
-
dual 120mm Black Ice extreme radiator with 2 x 120mm UV AC Ran fans on the front for CPU and chipset
-
single 120mm Black Ice extreme radiator with 2 x 120mm UV AC Ran fans for GPUs
-
2 low noise c-systems pumps
-
and last but not least - the non condictive UV reactive liquid! spill it and no damage will occur!
Here are the full specs of the machine:

The system can also be found here: http://www.vadim.co.uk/Custom+Gaming+PC+-+Fusion+CS+AMD-939G-SLI/7995 . All the Cables, Fans, Cathodes, UV fluid and sleeving are A.C. Ryan's modding products. When overclocked (safe and stable settings), It scored 12936 3D Mark05 points and the full benchmark scores were published here: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1344160 . Having said that, we must mention that 3dMark05 uses just one core for its benchmarks, so the second core can be successfuly used in the same time for video encoding or other time consuming applications without affecting eachover! And please find the pictures below :)

3. The long awaited response from ATI to NVIDIA's SLI is finally here! Much has been spoken, even longer has taken, but finally its here! The first boards that support this feature are the DFI's RDX200 and Sapphire's Xpress 200P motherboards that we present below:

We've benchmarked both boards with the new X1800XL that also is available in limited quanitities now and the results are not that bad at all for a single card considering its not the best card from ATI - over 7000 3D Mark05 points with a AMD X2 4800 CPU. It is curious to know how well 2 of the X1800XT connected in Crossfire that are due next month will do :) Anyway, the good point is that finally ATI and Nvidia have come to the point of standardisation of their graphics boards dimensions and cooling specs. Shortly we are going to post some pictures of the alternative cooling solutions for the X1800 graphics, but for now enjoy the picture below:
