From my perspective, Vadim deserves a 90% mark. Nearly perfect but not quite. Here are my rankings of the whole process from start to end. Pre-sales - excellent support, and reasonable advice. However, if you are going to go for a custom build you should be aware that you should have some technical expertise. i.e you should not be afraid to open the box and do some tweaking, maybe even some minor rewiring! My one area of complaint is in terms of USB connectors - I have a personal dislike of external hubs (two extra trailing wires). Vadim should really do an assessment of how many motherboard USB connectors are going to be consumed and advise if an Internal USB hub is recommended. My motherboard had six connectors, but I only finished with one front panel port despite the case having provision for three. This drags my ranking in this section down to 80%. Build Phase - excellent support and feedback. I was kept informed of delays in getting the required CPU's and given frequent updates. Vadim were very accommodating in taking on board some late additions from me. This phase deserves a 100% ranking. Build Price - Vadim are not cheap, go somewhere else if you want cheap. However they ARE competitive. My grown-up son ordered a nearly identical spec model from Apple, and prices were comparable once allowance for a few extra goodies for me were included! Delivery dates were nearly identical. So a 100% ranking? Build Quality - due I think to the rush to finalize my machine (I had set some timing deadlines) a few tiny faults resulted ( a couple of case light connectors were the wrong way around), and not spotted in the final quality check. I am willing to bet that these would have been caught if Vadim had had there normal 48 hour check prior to shipment. I was also a little upset that I lost one of my front panel USB ports to the m-Cubed T-Balancer which is only used on initial system set-up. A little foresight and a minor wiring change would have obviated this irritation. Bottom line a 90% mark. Post delivery Experience - a totally stable quiet workstation that looks great. Even Vista was set-up to give a reasonable out of the box experience. My dual boot XP was set up perfectly as was the back-up image. 100% for operational experience.
