Custom Gaming PC - Fusion LQX Intel-775G2
By Stephen Haggarty
Date Added: Sunday 30 December, 2007

Received my new system in November but for various reasons, I was not able to set it up and fully configure it for some time. Now, having finally done the deed, I installed my current game of choice WoW on Vista 64 bit and maxed out all the graphics settings. This baby runs quiet and smooth - its damn awesome!! On my old system, - a well-known so-called high-end gaming PC, I was averaging about 45-50 frames per second with one or 2 of the settings lowered. This dropped to the low 30's when in graphic intense situations like a crowded BG or Instance. Now, I average about 150 FPS!!! - Just a simple comparison but hell - what an improvement!! I know the geeks out there talk incessently about bench-mark tets and rubbish some systems because they are 2 nanoseconds slower than something else and whilst these tests give a highly technical overview of expected performance, all I want to know is:- Is this a lightning speed system? - well you bet your *ss it is!! If you want gold class service from a system builder who knows what they are doing - then go for a Vadim. Sure their systems are not cheap but the build quality is fantastic and customer service superb. If you want to save a bit of cash and get mediocre service - then go somewhere else!
