Okay, where to begin. Well in January of this year I was ready for a new PC, had the funds in process, the search began. I hadn't bought a new PC in over five years and was satisfied with my previous supplier so went to them first. What they had on offer was good but it all felt a little impersonal, and a phone call to them proved me right. So I carried on hunting, bought some magazines, looked at a few websites. Nothing really grabbed me. Then my girlfriend referred me to the piece 'The Gadget Show' did on Vadim. Came to this website and was hooked, almost instantly.
Firstly the website itself grabbed me, easy to use, easy to configure, good explanations on all the bits and pieces I wanted, from the mother boards to the set of headphones. Then I went onto the Forums. Just excellent. On there were not only Forum members but the staff too, I fed in my wanted specs and everybody offered sensible advice and suggestions, members and staff alike. I felt I could ask any question I wanted and everyone there (again members and staff) would come back to me, very quickly, with intelligent input. It is worth pointing out that I ended up saving money on the advice of not only the members but the staff also. Here, truly, is a company that thrives on customer service.
So the time came, a whole seven months after its start, and I placed my order, actually spoke to the company on the phone and again the helpful advice was there on hand to help and guide me through. From there on in it was a doddle. At any stage I could check my order on the website and any query (via the website) was dealt with dilligently and quickly. At the same time I could also speak on the Forums and I did, and still do, and the whole experience was shared with me by everyone there, it truly was the personal touch.
But all of this would be nothing without the product. Well what a product it is. You can just tell quality sometimes and everything about it is quality. You can tell that my assigned engineer (thank you Luke!) didn't just put the parts together and post it in a box, you can tell that there was care, attention to detail and, of course, sheer expertise in the building of it. I know, for a fact, that it wouldn't have left the factory in any less of a state.
That is not to say that everything went smoothy, lets be honest, nothing ever does, but I am pleased to report that every hitch (and to be fair, none have been what I'd call major) has been handled professionally, curteously and, as ever, timely. I know that if anything ever did go wrong in the future I would have complete confidence in Vadim to resolve it. That, in itself, is something I believe money can't buy.
It is a modern addage that you get what you pay for in this world, and whilst Vadim may not have been the cheapest option, I do not regret handing over a single penny of my money to them. I would not have any problem handing over another penny (or several) to them either. The Forum is a testimony to their loyal customer base. The company, the company ethos and the products they supply are the reason why.
If you're looking for a new PC, seriously, your search just ended...
